Lakeshore Middle School is saddened to learn that Coach Jessica Lafferty is stepping away from the Head Cheer Coaches position that she has held for the past 5 years to spend more time with her family. Coach Lafferty has been a staple of excellence for the Lakeshore’s Athletic Community. During her tenure Coach Lafferty was instrumental in maintaining the stunting safety certifications and training required for cheer coaches around the district. The preparation necessary for our middle school student athletes to continue their career in cheer leading at the High School level. She also brought discipline, respect, commitment, and teamwork, to the cheer teams at Lakeshore all while growing the enthusiasm for the sport. She will be greatly missed.
