Lakeshore Baseball

The Lakers baseball team started their season with a convincing 5-4 victory over the Nighthawks from Oakwood IB. Cody Camp gets the win while Cayden Bunch closed the game out in spectacular fashion on his birthday.

Cody and Cayden both had great games at the plate, while John Saldo led the team in RBI’s Sam Hoover had an impressive first game behind the plate and Mason Moss had key plays to finish out the game.

Next up for the Lakers is a home game on Monday vs WHMS.

 

The Lakeshore Lakers Baseball Team traveled into Mustang Country yesterday to take on West Iredell Middle School. The Lakers came close but dropped a close one by the score of 6 to 5.  Cody Camp pitched 5 innings and the Lakers were up 5 to 4 in the 4th inning.  Kane Kiser and Austin Emigh played well at short stop, while Mason Moss knocked in 3 RBI’s.

The Lakers return to action next Thursday as they travel to Oakwood to face the Knighthawks.

 

The Lakers baseball team took on the Nighthawks from Oakwood IB yesterday and came away with their second win of the regular season 13 to 9. Cody Camp was credited with the win, while Caiden Bunch pitched 2 solid innings. Michael Mikulicz closed out the game to complete the win.  Hitting wise Sam Hoover, Jacob Blumberg had big hits for the Lakers while Kane Kiser went 4 for 4 at the plate.  Cody Camp also led the team in steals and runs scored. Ramsey Stuart made a crucial catch in center field to save the game. 

Lakeshore’s baseball team took home a 17-4 victory yesterday against the Bulldogs from  Third Creek Middle School.  Mason Moss gets the win, and Ramsey Stuart was the closer.

Kane Kiser, Jacob Blumberg, and Michael Mikulicz led the team in hits. Trevor Bourgeois and Sam Hoover also closed the game with base hits leading to winning RBI’s. The Lakers play again on Thursday at home vs the Mustangs from West Iredell Middle.
