Lake Norman Girls Basketball finished the season on top of the 4A Greater Metro with a final 13-0 conference record, a final regular season record of 23-1, and went 6-0 in the playoffs. This is the fourth straight undefeated season in conference play and their second straight elite 8 appearance for the Lady Wildcats. Five seniors on the team played all four seasons on the varsity team and finished their high school careers as state champions: Adason Buoniconti, Aliya Williams, Alexis Shehan, Samantha Shehan, Addison Sirianni.
Lake Norman defeated Wakefield on Saturday, March 15th by a score of 53-51 that secured them the 2025 NCHSAA 4A Girls Basketball Championship.Â
