Oakwood football capped off their 3rd season in school history. The Nighthawks took huge steps forward this season winning their first 2 games of the season. While the did not find the win column again, they were competitive in every game and made their first Super Tuesday appearance falling to West Iredell in the 5th place game 6-0 after losing to West Iredell by 31-13 in the previous week in the final game of the season.
Oakwood will look to build on the strides they made this season heading into 2024 as they look to finish above .500 and advance into one of the later Super Tuesday games.
Great things are ahead for the Nighthawks football program.
