The Iredell County Sports Hall of Fame has selected the five athletes that will be inducted into this years hall of fame class. These five have contributed to the Iredell County community as student athletes and later in life through every stage of their lives. These nominees were announced by Executive Director Steve Rankin and Selection Committee Chairman Kenney Miller.Â
Former Mooresville Police Captain Frank Owens will also receive the annual Harold Johnson Community Partner Award. This years induction banquet will be held on Monday, May 20th 6:00 pm at the Statesville Civic Center.Â
