2024-2025 Teams of the Season

Randy Marion will recognize one female and one male team each season for the 2024 – 2025 School Year!

FALL 2024

Brawley Football has been named the Randy Marion Fall 2024 Team of the Season!

The team has exceeded expectations in their inaugural football season by going 7-0 over the regular season and winning the conference championship by a score of 8-0 on Tuesday, October 22nd.

The conference championship was clinched after a 25 yard touchdown pass from Colin Nelin to Aidan Akdamar to break a scoreless tie with 2 seconds left in the game to avoid overtime.

The program was officially announced to start this fall on May 1st, 2024 with the first practice taking place over the summer on July 29th, 2024.

Buy in from players was immediate from the first day of practice as 20 players or more showed up to every voluntary summer workout.

WINTER 2024-2025

Lake Norman Girls Basketball finished the season on top of the 4A Greater Metro with a final 13-0 conference record, a final regular season record of 23-1, and went 6-0 in the playoffs. This is the fourth straight undefeated season in conference play and their second straight elite 8 appearance for the Lady Wildcats. Five seniors on the team played all four seasons on the varsity team and finished their high school careers as state champions: Adason Buoniconti, Aliya Williams, Alexis Shehan, Samantha Shehan, Addison Sirianni.

Lake Norman defeated Wakefield on Saturday, March 15th by a score of 53-51 that secured them the 2025 NCHSAA 4A Girls Basketball Championship.
